The start of the love of a child

My mom, though she has and had issues, like all parents, is a wonderful mother. The best thing she ever gave to me besides life is the love of crafts, cooking and children to name a few. I would rather hang out with the 1st graders then deal with the 5th graders that didn't like me when in elementary school.  My young neighbors were more fun then the ones my age. High school came around and we moved to Hawaii..involved in theater and became munchkin monitor or this or that with kids. It came to the conclusion I should be a teacher. Go to school in Minnesota...that didn't last came back to Hawaii.....and fell in love with some crazy cool kids at Konawaena Elementary School where I work at with my mom.  Come back to Illinois have my few jobs here and there. next thing I'm a play place manager and not just any manager I'm the county famous Mcdonald's lady. I've asked myself really why how and it didn't hit me for awhile. I'm blessed with the gift the gift of understanding a child from babyhood- to teen. Especially 3-9 year old. I'm not perfect but its been a trip so far.
